Getting into Character

If anybody asks me why I failed my physics test as badly as I did, I'll just say it was to really reach into the feelings that the main character of my book feels when she starts to realize that she's letting everything (including her grades) slip downhill. And because I was so used to getting better grades than a 67%, I really just needed to experiment this time around to rake up that raw emotion.
Being a writer is nice - not only do you have a method to your madness, but you're good at BS-ing, too.

P.S. We beat RD Friday night. Now we're 6-0 and #12 in New Jersey!
